lyrics

We were out in the fields when the rain hit the ground
there was nowhere to hide to keep warm and dry
as the furrows were filled to cover our heels
the water poured in we were soaked to the skin

Because we were trapped in this terrible storm
without any way to avoid getting wet
we resigned ourselves to be washed clean
as the cloudbursts rolled above
oh, my darling when it breaks - here comes the sun

The storm rumbled on turning day into night
there was nothing to do but see this thing through
and the clothes that we wore were stuck straight to our skin
there was nothing to lose so we just pulled them loose

Standing out under the sky without anything on
in the rivers that flooded the field
we resigned ourselves to be washed clean
as the cloudbursts rolled above
hold on my darling look - here comes the sun

here comes the sun...

about

Peter Fedofsky Seattle, Washington

Well, I'm in love with The Beatles, Brian Wilson, Nilsson, early Bee Gees, oh, I love love solo McCartney and The Zombies and etc. I record in my house and don't pay attention to having awesome gear or making everything picture perfect. I just want it to be 1965 again, so no need to get hyper about using the latest doo-dad or production flim-flam.

Let's enjoy silly pop music together, shall we?
